The Standard Abrasives™ Quick Change Ceramic Pro 2-Ply Disc features ceramic grain engineered to improve cut-rate and efficiency over other Standard Abrasives™ standard ceramic discs. Ceramic abrasives feature high levels of hardness and strength so they can cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic Pro grain goes a step further to achieve even faster results for heavy-duty operations, while also requiring less pressure than standard ceramic discs and producing a consistent finish.

You can count on this Ceramic Pro disc for extraordinary performance on a slew of operations including removal of burrs, weld spatter, die cast flash and parting lines; blending on all metals including stainless, aluminum and titanium; removal of corrosion, paint coatings, gaskets, adhesives, scale and rust; and cosmetic finishing, weld polishing and conditioning of grind lines.

This 2-ply disc has a resin-reinforced Y-weight cloth backing that readily stands up to the demands of grinding and deburring. It provides a balance between flexibility and durability and is well-suited for flat surfaces.

When it comes to working with stainless steel and high nickel alloys, a cooler abrasive increases efficiency. This Ceramic Pro 2-ply disc features a grinding aid that lubricates the disc surface for cooler running. This helps prevent glazing of the disc, in turn enhancing cut and prolonging disc life. Moreover, cooler running helps reduce loading, part discoloration and follow-up steps.

Quick change discs allow tool-free swap outs, maintain secure attachment at high speeds, and save operators time when switching discs between grades or applications. Choose the disc compatible with your TR or TS holder pad (sold separately). TR discs have a nylon threaded hub that easily mounts to TR or 3M™ Roloc™ type holder pads with a turn of the wrist, and the TS system has a metal hub that attaches to its holder pad with a simple twist.
