1. Why should I create an account on M‑Source?
Creating an account lets you save billing/shipping information, track past orders more easily, and speed through checkout. This is ideal if you regularly reorder the same 3M essentials.
2. I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
No problem. Click “Forgot Your Password” on the login page. Our customer support will see and reset your password manually.
3. How do I place an order?
Browse categories (like abrasives, adhesives, safety gear, tapes), add items to your cart, and check out. If you need help ordering or modifying an order, call 773‑521‑4986 (international).
4. Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it?
Yes, but only before it ships. Contact us as soon as possible. Once shipped, returns with RMA and potential restocking fees apply.
5. How long does order processing and delivery take?
Orders are processed in 3–5 business days, then shipped via UPS Ground (3–10 business days), UPS 2‑Day, or UPS 3‑Day.
6. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! As an authorized 3M exporter, we ship globally. For international orders, please call first to confirm the shipping details and duties.
7. What shipping carriers and options do you offer?
We use UPS for all shipments and support Ground, 2‑Day, 3‑Day, and applicable international services. Tracking info is emailed after shipment.
8. Are deliveries insured or signature-required?
Usually, no signature is required, except for larger orders. M‑Source isn’t liable for missing packages but will help resolve issues. We can also advise on insurance for international shipments.
9. What’s your return policy?
Unused and unopened products can be returned within 15 days of delivery with an RMA number, which you can request by calling us. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
10. When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are issued once the returned item is inspected. They may take up to 7 business days to appear in your account. Contact us if they don’t after 10 days.
11. Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We do not accept checks, C.O.D., or money orders.
