Scotch® Vinyl Electrical Tape 22 provides mechanical strength and abrasion resistance for insulation applications. This 1-1/2-inch, 10-mil thick, black vinyl tape is compatible with solid dielectric cable insulations and can be used for bus bar insulations, harnessing, cable sheath repair, and sealing wire connectors.
This rubber-based adhesive has a polyvinyl backing that makes it cold weather- and corrosion-resistant, withstanding temperatures ranging from 15 to 176 ºF (-10 to 80 ºC). This flame-retardant tape performs continuously through high heat and cold indoor/outdoor conditions.
Scotch® Vinyl Electrical Tape 22 provides a long-lasting adhesion for heavy-duty repair projects. Scotch® Vinyl Electrical Tape 22 by 3M™ is UL Listed, CSA Certified and RoHS and Prop 65 compliant.
