Scotch Varnished Cambric Tape 2520 is an 8-mil thick conformable tape with a non-corrosive, pressure-sensitive adhesive that is suitable for bus bar, motor leads and service drop connections. Varnished Cambric tapes are flexible, electrically insulating and moisture resistant with a smooth finish. The tape is made from straight-cut woven cotton cambric fabric that is oil primed and coated with a high-grade yellow electrical insulating varnish.
- Tape is made from oil primed and coated straight-cut woven cotton cambric fabric
- Tape provides protective resistance to abrasion, puncture and cut-through
- This varnished cambric tape is rated up to 221F (105C)
- Non-corrosive pressure-sensitive adhesive holds tape in position until jacketing is applied
- This tape should not be used as primary insulation for splicing and terminating PILC Cable
- RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant
