Scotch® Steel Gray Masking Paper is an ideal material for paint masking in collision repair. It is strong, flexible and pliable, and it’s available in a variety of sizes – including small 3” or 6” widths to cover a range of surface shapes. The masking paper is also specially treated to resist penetration by solvents, lacquers and enamels and withstands bake cycles up to 400°F (204°C) for 1 hour.

Scotch® Steel Gray Masking Paper is ideal for paint masking during collision repair. Strong and flexible, the 12-inch paper conforms to a wide variety of irregularly shaped surfaces for protection from paint overspray and helps improve results in auto body masking and painting jobs.
The paper is specially treated to resist the penetration of liquids such as solvents, lacquers and enamels, greatly reducing rework due to bleed-through. A sheet of masking paper can also withstand a bake cycle up to 400 °F (204 °C) for one hour, making it perfect for use in paint booths.
This pliable paper offers dependable performance on apron tapers and maskers, helping to improve shop efficiency and reduce product waste. It's also suitable for difficult areas, such as headlights, taillights, door jambs and bumpers.
Use with 3M™ Masking Tapes and 3M™ Masking Equipment for automotive aftermarket applications, and achieve clean application with Scotch® Steel Gray Masking Paper.
