Scotch Self-Fusing Silicone Rubber Electrical Tape 70 is a 12-mil thick, high-temperature, arc- and track-resistant protective electrical tape composed of a self-fusing, inorganic silicone rubber with an easy-tear, easy-strip liner. This tape is ideal for weatherproofing.
- Provides protection from weather conditions, UV exposure, and is workable at extremely low temps
- High dielectric strength (high voltage use)
- Class “H” temperature rated based on silicone material properties 356F (180C)
- Apply in half-lapped layers using moderate tension and apply last lap with zero stretch
- Can be applied over exposed cable insulation or end seal used with molded (slip-on) stress cones
- Meets Commercial Item Description: A-A-59163 Class I, Type I and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant
