Scotch® Fine Line Masking Tape 2800 is made specifically to create sharp line separation by resisting residue, tracking, bleeding, and ghosting. It's specialized composition bonds fast to thermoplastic olefin (TPO) surfaces in addition to metals and other materials. Designed for demanding masking processes in the automotive, marine, rail, and other transportation industries, this tape is prepared to handle bake cycles up to 300 °F (148 °C) for 30 minutes. Sturdy polyolefin film backing and high-temp acrylic adhesive allow clean, one-piece removal up to 7 days outdoors. Its translucent blue backing not only assists placement, but also allows visual confirmation that the adhesive is wetted out on the surface.
