Scotch® Tape 70 HDT is a 20 mil thick, premium grade, electrical tape with silicone rubber backing. This triangular, tapered edge tape is used as a base tape layer for easy re enter connections. It withstands temperatures up to 356 °F (180 °C).

With self-amalgamating properties, this Scotch Tape 70HDT is made with an inorganic silicone rubber that ensures a tight seal. It also conforms well to irregular-shaped objects to prevent wire exposure, which makes it an ideal solution for protecting high-voltage cables from tracking. Specially made with blue guidelines, this electrical tape makes half-lapping applications easier, and it's RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant. Resistant to weather in outdoor applications, this tape can be applied anywhere, and it delivers excellent resistance to arcs.
