Filament-reinforced polypropylene backing provides excellent tensile strength in addition to abrasion, moisture, scuff and break resistance, even when nicked or punctured. To allow easier application, this tape is engineered to dispense consistently without curling. Its multi-layer synthetic-rubber adhesive system prevents delamination and bonds well to a variety of common packaging materials such as corrugated cardboard, fiberboard, plastic, and metals. Reinforcing glass filaments, powerful adhesive, and durable overall construction allow Scotch® Filament Tape 898 to excell in harsh shipping environments.
