Bondo® Professional Glazing & Spot Putty quickly repairs paint scratches, minor dents and stone chips. Its professional quality formula comes as a two-part product with putty and cream hardener to produce a mixture that won't shrink once cured. This glazing and spot putty has a 5-minute working time and a 20-minute curing time, giving you the perfect balance of enough time to complete the repair with a fast cure that keeps your project moving forward on schedule. 

Once cured, you're ready to sand to create a smooth patch that matches the surrounding surface beautifully. This repair putty securely bonds to primer, metal, fiberglass and aluminum, and it resists gumming up sandpaper and shrinking. It can be used with all types of paint systems for professional-looking results.

Even a small repair can seem complex at first. So 3M’s Body Repair System simplifies the entire automotive body repair process by dividing it into four stages:

Stage 1 – Prepare.  This stage includes pulling dents, removal of paint and rust and efficient, effective masking of the area.

Stage 2 – Fill. This stage involves patching holes with reinforced filler and smoothing and shaping filler before painting.

Stage 3 – Paint. This stage includes painting the area and blending and smoothing primer and paint.  

Stage 4 – Finish. The final stage for showroom-grade results: removing small defects, sealing and polishing clear coats and other painted surfaces.
