Use 3M™ Vitrified Grinding Wheels 33VF for conventional grinding operations including creep feed and profile grinding of thin work parts such as engine valves. Our vitrified bonded grinding wheels with mono-crystalline aluminium oxide grains can also be used for outer diameter (OD) cylindrical grinding operations. Mono-crystalline aluminium oxide minerals are moderately harder and tougher than standard white aluminium oxide grits, giving these grains higher friability and a low wear resistance that makes them ideal for grinding specific materials such as high alloyed or toughened steels, tools' steel and Inconel®.
