3M™ VentureClad™ Heavy Duty Insulation Jacketing System 1579GCW-WM is a zero permeability tape that serves as a vapor barrier for insulation cladding and jacketing applications.

Built to last, this multi-layered laminate is reinforced for high (57 lbs./252 N) puncture and tear resistance as well as excellent chemical resistance, allowing it to be used in interior and exterior applications that require extra durability.

This tape is easy to install without special tools and performs in a broad temperature range of -40 °F to 248 °F (-40 °C to 120 °C). The laminate is coated with an aggressive cold-weather pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that delivers excellent bonding and sealing. It is protected by a release liner that assists in applying the tape.

Tested to ASTM E84 (20/25 Flame/Smoke Rating).
