3M™ Temflex™ Tape 1700 has a flame-retardant PVC backing that's elastic to conform to most shapes, and it's resistant to alkalis, acids, UV rays and copper corrosion to survive ever-changing weather conditions. The rubber-resin adhesive produces a seal that repels moisture and helps prevent shorting of installations. This tape is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, and it's ASTM Approved, CSA Certified, UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant. For use mechanical and electrical protection in applications such as wire harness cable splicing and cable Jacketing and repairs.
- STRONG AND DURABLE: Made with an elastic vinyl (PVC) film backing coated on one side with a noncorrosive, rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive
- PRIMARY ELECTRICAL INSULATION: For most wire and cable splices rated up to 600V
- PROTECTIVE JACKETING: For cable splices and repairs, as well as the harnessing of wires and cables
- OPERATING TEMPERATURE: Withstands a temperature range of 0-80 °C (32-176 °F)
