3M Stripe Off Wheel is designed for high-speed removal of vinyl, decals, graphics and double-sided molding striping and trim. This solid molded eraser wheel uses friction to remove decals, rather than abrasive mineral, preventing scratches and damage to the finish of the car, boat or RV. While the friction created by this decal remover eraser wheel won’t damage most finishes, it is important to ensure that the substrate is not heat sensitive, as repeated friction causes heat. With a medium density rating and high-quality construction, the 3M Stripe Off Wheel delivers long-lasting, reliable and efficient performance in removing unwanted decals, stripes and adhesives from your vehicle. It’s easy to use with most drills and standard rotary tools. 3M Stripe Off Wheel 07499 has an optimum operating speed of 2,000 rpm (+/- 200) and a maximum operating speed of 4,000 rpm. Operating the wheel above the maximum operating speed may compromise the product’s performance.
