3M™ Scotchrap™ Tape 50 is a premium grade, 10 mil thick, all weather, PVC backing tape. It withstands temperatures of 55 to 176 °F ( 48 to 80 °C). This high tack adhesive tape offers resistance to corrosion, impact, abrasion and puncture, making it suitable for use on metal piping systems, conduits and fittings both above and below ground.

Whether you're using it to wrap straight pipes, field joints or conduits, 3M™ Scotchrap™ Corrosion Protection Tape 50 holds up to impacts, abrasions, UV rays, extreme temperatures, damaging chemicals and salt water for reliability in a wide range of conditions. Bury your wrapped pipes underground, or leave them exposed to the environment; this10-mil flexible tape is designed for use in either setting. The rubber adhesive binds instantly upon application and holds this corrosion protection tape securely against your metal piping even in damp environments. Because the tape is pressure-sensitive, you don't need heat or special tools to wrap your pipes. Always use with Scotchrap™ Pipe Primer to help maximize your corrosion protection. This tape is RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
