Its high performance provides long-lasting results in expansion, flexing, and environmental aging — helping to maintain a long-lasting bond. While delivering excellent shear and peel strength, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 460 provides excellent resistance to high temperatures, solvents, and outdoor weathering, and is ideal for a host of industries, including transportation, aerospace, construction, and sporting goods repair applications. It meets the standard for UL-HB Certified, ASTM E162, ASTM E662, Bombardier SMP 800C, and Boeing BSS 7239. The preparation and application of the product make it easy to use with a 2:1 by-volume mix ratio. Allowing 60 minutes of open time for project adjustment, the epoxy is fully cured in 24 hours at a temperature of 73 °F (23 °C). 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 460 offers handling strength in 4 hours and is available in both bulk or a Duo-Pak (DP); when using this adhesive in Duo-Pak form, rely on 3M Applicators for convenient and accurate metering, mixing, and dispensing.
