3M™ Rigid Pillar Foam 08458 is a two-component rigid closed-cell foam that provides high performance and delayed reaction time during repair jobs.
It can be used in areas such as posts, pillars, sills, doors, floor pans, roof bows, and various other automotive body cavities to prevent panel flutter and provide rigidity.
The foam's expanding properties help fill hard-to-reach cavities. Once in place, it expands to ten times its original size, so only a small amount is needed to fill large areas.
It is designed to mimic the appearance and performance of OEM foam products. The foam is compatible with a range of manual and pneumatic 3M™ applicators like the 3M™ Automix™ Applicator Gun.
