3M™ Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape 9960 is a thin tape with strong backing for butt splicing. The backing is also printable, making it good for a wide variety of papers and temperatures. Additionally, the repulpable adhesive prevents broke contamination from non-repulpable splice material. It meets or exceeds TAPPI UM-213, procedure A and meets specific FDA indirect food additive regulations as described under 21 CFR 176.170 (Components of paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous and fatty food) and 21 CFR 176.180 (Components of paper and paperboard in contact with dry foods).
