3M™ PELTOR™ WS™ Adapter G3, Ground Mechanic for aircraft pushback operation. WS Adapter G3, Ground Mechanic, together with a Peltor WS enabled headset, creates a wireless connection between the aircraft's pilot and the ground crew while performing pushback operation. Equipped with a rechargeable battery pack, that is removable for easy charging and continuous operation.
With the newly designed IP54 certified casing our product has a robust but still an easy-to-use solution with a 2-button operation, voice guide and clear LED status indication. The battery have a capacity up to 190 hours of continuous operation. One can always check battery status via a separate button, and via three separate green colored LED indicators you will be able to see the status. The green color supplies the best visibility in bright sunlight. The LED indicators combined with the powerful battery will reduce the need to charge the battery and contribute to smooth daily handling of the product. We have improved sound quality with the introduction of wideband audio, which gives you a more natural sound and better perception in noisy environments. Furthermore, we have lowered the latency and enhanced the duplex function to give added performance. To increase awareness, we have also introduced a new voice guide that alerts the pilot if the ground crew loses connection with the aircraft. Newly designed safety hook attached to the adapter via a double looped nylon strap, which can add extra security and reduce the risk that the adapter will fall off the aircraft body with lost communication as a result. The size of the hook provides a variety of attachment points on the aircraft body. Connecting cable has a newly developed connector strain relief with an enlarged grip area for easily disconnecting from the aircraft, even with the use of winter gloves, and at the same time enhances the durability of the connector. To better fit wide body aircraft, we have extended the cable length.
