Scotch Linerless Electrical Rubber Tape 2242 is a 30-mil thick, general purpose, highly conformable, linerless Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) based electrical insulating tape.
- Designed for use in splicing and terminating wire and cables rated up to an operating 194F (90C)
- Stable over a wide temperature range and capable of emergency operating temperatures up to 266F (130C)
- Physical and electrical properties unaffected by degree of stretch
- Apply this linerless, self-fusing insulating tape in half-lapped level wound layers to desired buildup
- May be used for bus bar insulation, moisture sealing cable ends, motor leads and cable jacket repair
- This weather resistant tape is RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant
