3M™ Hand Tape Applicator, Clearwall System

A 3M™ Hand Tape Applicator helps apply 3M™ VHB™ Tape with no bubbles. In certain applications, this method may help increase taping speed and accuracy for better throughput while maintaining quality levels. These tools are designed to apply 3M™ VHB™ Tapes with thicknesses of 0.062” (1.55 mm) or greater with the exception of the 3M™ Hand Tape Applicator CV45 and custom tools that straddle the part. 

A 3M™ Hand Tape Applicator can help improve the placement of 3M™ VHB™ Tape in a number of different applications. Typical applications where these tools have been identified to provide significant value to installers/operators include: panel-to-post and panel-to-frame (transportation, signage, structural glazing, elevator, etc.), stiffener bonding (architectural panel, appliance, signage, HVAC, elevator, etc.) and other applications. The 3M™ Hand Tape Applicator is available in standard sizes (1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4", 7/8”, 1” and 1-1/8”) and can be customized to accommodate the customer’s application (inset tape, centering of tape, straddle applicators, etc.).
