A convenient 200 mL cartridge contains two-part urethane material that expands to 10 times its liquid volume, creating a closed-cell foam that won’t shrink and closely mimics OEM foam properties for insulation, sound-deadening and temperature resistance.

3M™ Flexible Foam 08463 is used to quickly and effectively replace OEM flexible foams in automotive applications. This cartridge of two-part urethane material expands to 10 times its liquid volume, making it possible to fill larger gaps with less product, resulting in lower material costs.
The closed-cell foam provides the same insulation, sound deadening, and moisture and temperature resistance properties as OEM foam, but it will not shrink when cured.
With a five-minute working time and one-hour curing time, this foam-in-place material allows technicians to maximize work time and ensure proper placement fast. This flexible foam is suitable for use in door skins and intrusion beams, roof bows, vehicle trunks, body panels, and many other auto body cavities.
