3M™ Flame Resistant Loop Fastener SJ3518FR is a flame resistant rubber-based loop fastener with a 3 mil (0.08 mm) polyethylene film liner featuring red 3M print. It is an attachment alternative to a wide variety of closures, including zippers, screws, snaps, hooks and more. This nylon fastener was designed with a woven loop backing, covered with thousands of soft, pliable napped loops, providing for thousands of openings and closings (cycles). This fastener should be paired with 3M™ Flame Resistant Hook Fastener SJ3519FR. To ensure stability and flatness, both the hook and the corresponding loop are preshrunk.

Flame Resistant Rubber Adhesive

The backing of 3M™ Flame Resistant Loop Fastener SJ3518FR is coated with a flame resistant rubber-based pressure sensitive adhesive. This adhesive was designed for applications where flame resistance is required. This adhesive is suited for application to many substrates, including plastics.
