3M™ E A Rfit™ Dual Ear 1/4 20 to 5/8 27 Speaker Stand Adapter is designed to attach the 3M E A Rfit Enclosure Assembly Speaker to the speaker stand. These accessories work with the 3M™ E A Rfit™ Dual Ear Validation System, which helps employers verify whether the worker is receiving adequate protection from their hearing protector. This objective fit testing system provides a personal attenuation rating (PAR) for each worker. In just seconds, it administers a test across 7 standard frequencies, quickly reporting whether their hearing protectors (earplugs, banded, or earmuffs) are effectively blocking the individual worker from potentially hazardous workplace noise. Once every employee’s personal attenuation rating is known, health and safety professionals can utilize this data to enhance their hearing conservation program.

• Adapter has 5/8” end to attach to black speaker stand and ¼” end to screw into bottom of speaker
• 3M PSD products are for occupational use only.
• NOTE: 3M strongly recommends fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that many users will receive less noise reduction than indicated by the NRR due to variation in hearing protector fit, fitting skill and motivation of the user. If the NRR is used, 3M recommends that it be reduced by 50% or in accordance with applicable regulations.
