The tape offers very high bond strength to a wide variety of dissimilar and difficult to bond to substrates, including metals and many plastics including polypropylene, HDPE and LDPE. The black polyester (PET) carrier improve handling during converting and application. 3M™ Double Coated Tape 9629B also features a natural 60# glassine release liner.
