3M™ Cloth Spiral Band 747D, 1-1/2 in x 1-1/2 in 60 X-weight, 100 ea/Case

For a fast continuous cut and long-life durable performance on aggressive applications, a blend of aluminum oxide and 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain is resin-bonded to a durable cotton backing. Resin creates a strong bond that withstands high heat and pressure, and a grinding aid on the band reduces grinding temperatures to protect heat-sensitive alloys.

The band fits onto a rubber wheel attachment (such as a cushion polishing wheel or a rubber slotted expander wheel, both sold separately) for use with a die grinder or rotary drill. The bands come in a range of widths and lengths to suit different contours and tasks, and are often used in foundry work.
