Featuring a thin 2 mil high tack adhesive and a durable PCK liner, 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9671 adds efficiency and ease of use to a range of general industrial joining jobs including thin applications that require high-strength adhesion. 3M™ Adhesive 300 is formulated for excellent initial adhesion to surfaces including metals, foams, HSEs and LSEs. The 6.2 mil liner is polyethylene coated on two sides for excellent lay-flat and easy handling.

A Durable Bond

3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9671 features 3M™ Adhesive 300, which affords excellent quick tack and bonds well to a variety of substrates including metals, high surface energy (HSE) plastics and low surface energy (LSE) plastics. This acrylic Adhesive 300 maintains a durable bond even in a 2 mil thickness, and has been tested to ASTM procedures for peel adhesion, temperature and humidity as well as resistance to UV, fuels, acids and detergents.

About Adhesive Transfer Tape

In general, 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tapes are rolls of pressure sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner. The tape consists of adhesive only and does not have any type of backing material. For application the tape is positioned, adhesive side down, to a surface and the liner is removed, exposing the backside of the adhesive to the joining surface. A variety of adhesive properties and liners are available to meet requirements for applications such as nameplate attachment to high and low surface energy plastics, appliance graphic overlays that perform in high temperatures, foam gasketing, web splicing, signs, posters, banners, point-of-purchase displays and more.
