3M™ Wheel Mandrel 938, 2 in x 1/4 in, 1 ea/Case

A seemingly simple part, the 3M™ Wheel Mandrel enables effective disc to tool attachment for Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Strip Discs (sold separately). The Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Strip Discs that this mandrel supports are an extra coarse grade, open-web disc engineered to effectively clean welds, remove rust and strip paint. The open construction and aggressive abrasive properties provide a smooth running wheel that resists loading when removing soft or high loading coatings.

To complete the system, combine the the disc and mandrel with 3M™ Die Grinders (sold separately). 3M™ Die Grinders feature 1/4" collets, which provide quick and easy attachment of the mandrel/disc assembly. In addition, 3M™ Die Grinders are designed for continuous use and have ergonomic features that enhance operator comfort and control.
