3M™ Stikit™ Green Disc Roll is packaged as multiple adhesive-backed discs rolled into a tube. These discs tear off conveniently one at a time for speed and efficiency, and they require no liners which saves material costs. Ready-to-use Stikit™ discs feature a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backs – simply press the disc onto the backup pad and you're ready to go. They remove just as cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. Use with 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Roll Dispenser (05450) or 3M™ Stikit™ Light Duty Dispensers (PN 05455 for 5" discs).

With its aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, the Stikit™ Green Disc Roll provides a sharp cut – more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. Durable D-weight paper backing makes the disc ideal for more aggressive auto body sanding jobs such as shaping plastic filler, removing paint around damaged areas and scratch refinement of bare metal.

Open coat construction means the abrasive grains on the 3M™ Stikit™ Green Disc Roll are placed with space between them to help evacuate sanding dust and other debris to avoid clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The load-resistant coating on the abrasive grains also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding paints and other materials that would otherwise clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. All of this adds up to increased productivity and reduced material consumption.

The 5-hole or 6-hole pattern on the 3M™ Stikit™ Green Disc Rolls helps clear dust from the surface of the disc, making for longer disc life and a more consistent finish. This hole design doesn't even require alignment of holes with the disc pad, (3M suggests backup pad 05655 or 05656) making disc changes quick and simple.
