3M Vacuum Random Orbital Sanders are built with a self-generated vacuum for optimal dust extraction in environments where dust management is important. It delivers professional performance and a swirl-free finish in high-production industrial environments. 3M Clean Sanding System eliminates dust from the workpiece and surrounding space, which improves sanding performance. The sander uses the inlet air to create its own venturi vacuum that extracts dust and expels it through a wide collection port into the included HEPA-rated 3M Clean Sanding Filter Bag. An air filter inside the bag locks dust away and effectively retains it for disposal. 3M Pneumatic Vacuum Orbital Sanders are designed to optimize the performance of 3M abrasives, with speed control and a low-profile, balanced design. 3/16” diameter orbit provides a moderate cut rate and a fine finish on metal, composites, wood and more. This palm sander is loaded with features to reduce vibration and noise and increase ergonomics and operator comfort. A 3M Hookit Disc Pad is included with this 5 inch random orbital sander, allowing the operator to quickly and easily apply and re-apply hook and loop discs to the sanding tool. Operates at 90 psi with an air flow rate of 17 SCFM.
