3M™ No Cleanup Applicator Gun is part of a whole system of products designed to bolster and protect automotive coatings. With the help of this applicator gun, operators can achieve clean, uniform coatings on their panels. Best of all, the 3M™ No Cleanup Applicator Gun has a name that precedes it. In other words, this applicator gun requires no cleaning after use.
Champion the MessThe No Cleanup Replacement Nozzle (sold separately) is inserted into the Cleanup Can (sold separately) and fits directly onto the gun. The nozzle is disposable and can be discarded after use. Older coating systems required the coating to run through the gun, which meant operators had to disassemble the gun and thoroughly clean it. Now – because the coating is transmitted through the nozzle – the need for additional cleanup is eliminated.

To use the applicator gun, operators begin by inserting a nozzle into the No Cleanup Can and pressing down until it snaps securely into place. Then, the nozzle attaches to the applicator gun. When attaching the air hose to the gun, please follow the directions and guidelines that accompany the can. Modifying the pressure can change the texture and appearance of the coating. In fact, it's often a good idea to spray a small test panel and adjust the variables – air pressure, panel distance and coats – to figure out how to achieve the desired texture.
