The polyester backing on 3M™ Microfinishing PSA Film Disc 675L is water resistant, so the disc may be run wet if desired. A pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing was engineered in the design of 675L, so disc to tool attachment would be swift and easy. The PSA backing holds the disc securely in place during use, and removes cleanly from the backup pad (sold separately), leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. It's designed for use with orbital and random orbital sanders.
