3M™ Cloth Disc 577F, 60 YF-weight, 13-3/4 in x 1-5/8 in, Die 1375GG

Ideally suited for heavy stock removal and high pressure grinding, 3M™ Cloth Disc 577F tackles tough, high-pressure grinding jobs. Alumina zirconia is both sharp and durable, and was developed specifically for heavy stock removal and high pressure grinding.

To back up the tough, sharp-cutting abrasive, a YF-weight polyester cloth backing offers a very stable backing. A grinding aid supersize reduces grinding temperatures for processes involving heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium.

This disc is best suited to off-hand applications like weld grinding, beveling and deburring, edge grinding, and weld seam blending, on mild steel, stainless steel, high nickel alloys and aluminum.
