Our Vinyl Film Tape is ideal for use as a sandblast stencil for stone, glass, wood, granite and other materials. It effectively seals to prevent particles from infiltrating and damaging sensitive surfaces. We use components designed to meet industrial specifications for surface protection during sand blast paint stripping operations, minimizing the potential for irreparable damage. Our vinyl backing is strong enough to resist blasting yet conformable enough to apply smoothly on irregular surfaces, over curves and around corners. These tapes are ideal for protecting medium to large lettering, edge protection and surface protection, including the protection of glass surfaces. They cut cleanly for easy alignment, stenciling and die cut operations. Our acrylic adhesive has good initial adhesion and holds through the sandblasting cycle then removes cleanly. Clean one-piece removal means less time spent in clean up and more time available to complete the job. We manufacture these tapes using a 61 lb bleached kraft paper liner. By using a robust release liner, these tapes provide reliable performance for industrial applications, such as die-cutting and in automated dispensers. The high-release liner helps eliminate liner separation during the computer plotting process. The liner also helps reduce edge roll and protects the tape from humidity extremes.
