Hand Sanding for Fine Wood Finishes The softer cut of garnet on our 3M™ Paper Sheet 110N leaves a smoother finish than other abrasive minerals when sanding wood by hand. A light A-weight paper backing provides flexibility and its flat profile leaves a consistent, light scratch. Available in a broad range of grades from 80 to 220, this popular 9 x 11-inch sheet can easily be cut to fit any hand tool or folded to reach critical surfaces, corners and recesses.
